AASHTOWare Project 4.1 Updated Release Date and Additional Functionality

Based on feedback from the Technical Review Team/Feature Package Group, the AASHTOWare Project Task Force (PTF) has extended the release date of the AASHTOWare Project 4.1 release in order to include change control CC.APR-14155.02, “Allow Tiered Subcontractors To View Theirs And Lower Level Payrolls”. AASHTOWare Project 4.1 was originally scheduled to be available on July 3, 2018, but it will now be available on August 24, 2018. The PTF felt that the inclusion of this new functionality was an important addition to the software and a later release date was justified.

The new functionality will provide subcontractors with an overview of their payrolls, as well as the payrolls of their lower tiered subcontracts. Additional external payroll UI screens and modifications to existing UI screens were included to provide a ready overview of all a subcontractor’s payrolls, as well as the payrolls submitted by tiered subcontractors below them. The subcontractor will now be able to review payrolls at any time by drilling down to an individual payroll from the overview. The business logic was updated to control access to subcontractor payrolls associated by tiered subcontracting for a given contract, regardless of vendor authority.
