AASHTOWare Project™ Marketing Update

May 31, 2018

Since reaching significant enhancement milestones, the AASHTOWare Project Task Force (PTF) has been busy capturing the values and benefits from using the AASHTOWare Project software. Keeping in pace with technology and communication to support the agency needs, the PTF is providing executive presentations and informational videos to convey those key elements. This material includes business case information and visual graphic representation of AASHTOWare Project to support education and promotion within the agencies and across departments.  The PTF considers timely reviews and access by prioritizing informative topics, setting video duration to 5-10 minutes, scheduling webinars to watch collectively, and making the information available on Cloverleaf®. Watch for notifications from the PTF when the resources are posted, featuring topics that include:

  • AASHTOWare Project Data Analytics™: Leveraging the power of the AASHTOWare Project unified database, AASHTOWare Project Data Analytics expands user functionality and accessibility to easily analyze data, find patterns, draw conclusions, and most importantly enable better decisions based on the results. Built as an integral part of a single source of truth of the construction process from estimation and proposal preparation to bidding and construction, the AASHTOWare Project Data Analytics software gives users access to a vast array of data to provide real time decision support of highway construction data.
  • AASHTOWare Project Construction & Materials™: The Materials portion of AASHTOWare Project Construction & Materials delivers an extremely robust and dynamic solution for construction material data management. Whether a field inspector, a tester in the lab, or administrator, an easy-to-follow demonstration walks through how all the stages of contract construction materials is tracked, for example, laboratory management and sampling workflows.
  • Hosting Services for AASHTOWare Project: The benefits achieved from hosting services with AASHTOWare Project software are countless. Upgrading is almost immediate and staying current with product releases is seamless as well as needing minimal IT involvement just to name a few. A video compilation shows business case successes of hosting and how an agency uses the AASHTOWare Project hosting services both from a technical perspective—how to access data—and from the user experience level.
  • AASHTOWare Project Executive Overview: A video highlight explaining the value propositions of the AASHTOWare® Program, the benefit gains through partnerships and joint development, the role AASHTOWare Project serves within the user community, and how it assists facilitating e-Construction initiatives.
  • AASHTOWare Project Data Analytics Promotional Video: Finally, a feature focus with Dr. Tom Rothrock, Co-CEO of Info Tech, Inc. telling his story of events that originated analytical methodology to what is now known as AASHTOWare Project BAMS/DSS™, along with PTF members and other agency personnel explaining a future of better business decisions driven by data. This shows how important data was then and how relevant it is now with testimonies from supporting Agencies that have been performing graphical, bid-based price analysis and item price estimates utilizing historical bid data in the Software-as-a-Service environment prior to production release.
