Account Managers Highlight

In the February edition of AASHTOWare ProjectTM e-News, we introduced the Account Manager team and their roles and responsibilities. And then in May, we highlighted Account Managers Mark Douglas, Wendell Gardner and Ward Zerbe. In this edition of the AASHTOWare Project e-News, we are highlighting Conchi Ossa, Dave Carrow and the Info Tech, Inc. Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mike Sedgwick.

Conchi M. Ossa, Info Tech Account Manager

Conchi Ossa, a business development professional with broad experience in the public and private sectors, has been with Info Tech for 15 years. Conchi has held several positions with Info Tech developing product line marketing plans and budgets, overseeing business development and product growth, and helping to guide the strategic planning and financial success of various products. In her current position of Account Manager, Conchi manages the accounts for 10 transportation agencies in the United States and Puerto Rico.

Prior to joining Info Tech in 2001, Conchi was the Director of Economic Development for the City of Gainesville where she developed and managed projects that enhanced the City’s tax base and employment diversity. During her six-year tenure with the City of Gainesville, Conchi initiated economic development partnerships with other public organizations, private businesses, academic institutions, lenders, legislators and other City officials to attract new private investment to the City of Gainesville and Alachua County.

David C. Carrow, Info Tech Account Manager

Dave Carrow is sole proprietor of RJ Consulting and contracts with Info Tech as an Account Manager for AASHTOWare Project. Preferring the title of “Relationship Manager” compared to Account Manager, Dave focuses on the relationships within his region and his relationship with the Info Tech and AASHTOWare Project team. Dave founded RJ Consulting in 2003 to provide business development services for IT firms, leveraging his experience and understanding of construction management and administration. Dave is supporting agencies in the northeastern United States and eastern Canada. Dave has a distinguished 49-year career in transportation, 35 of which were with the New York State Department of Transportation. While with NYSDOT, Dave worked in survey, materials, construction, design, structures and IT management. At the time of his retirement from NYSDOT, Dave was the Business Account Manager for the Office of Engineering. Dave and his wife, Barb, of 41 years enjoy dogs, RVing, and present-day muscle cars to those from the 1960s.

Mike Sedgwick, Info Tech, Inc. Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Mike has over 35 years of experience providing engineering automation solutions for transportation design, construction, and operations. His responsibilities include the management, and coordination of sales and technical teams for the transportation market.

During his career, Mike has developed and presented sales and major account training for sales, sales management, and technical teams. He has also helped develop and run mentoring programs in the companies at which he has been employed and as a private consultant.

Throughout his career, he has been an active contributor to the HEEP and AASHTO organizations. He is a strong advocate of collaboration, communication, and coaching within the organizations that he serves and in the transportation community.

In his current role as VP at Info Tech he is responsible for sales and marketing of the AASHTOWare Project solution and for the Info Tech line of products.

Mr. Sedgwick lives in New Smyrna Beach, FL and Bennington, VT. Some of his hobbies include skiing, fly-fishing, golf and making maple syrup on his land in Vermont.
