November 27, 2017

On behalf of the AASHTOWare Project Task Force, I am pleased to announce that the vacant position on the task force has been filled! Please join me in welcoming Jamey Wilhite of the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) to the AASHTOWare Project Task Force.

Jamey is currently the Construction Division Systems Administrator for the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT). Jamey serves as the administrator for the AASHTOWare Project software, as well as ARDOT’s electronic document management system and other e-Construction initiatives.

Jamey began his career as a field engineer in 2006 after completing a BSCE and MSCE at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Jamey became a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Arkansas in 2010. In 2011, Jamey transferred into the Central Office in Little Rock to serve as the Assistant Systems Administrator, and then advanced to his current position in 2014.

Fun Fact:
Jamey was born and raised on a cattle ranch in Northeast Oklahoma. He spent four years in the Razorback Marching Band at the University of Arkansas, and participated in the ASCE Concrete Canoe Competition for two years. Jamey remains an avid musician, playing mandolin, guitar, and learning fiddle.  Jamey and his wife, Bonnie, have been married since 2015 and have had the pleasure of hosting international exchange students in their home.
