February 28, 2018

Brian Curran joined Info Tech as an Account Manager in January 2018. He brings 13 years of industry experience as an Account Manager and 10 years supporting state departments of transportation (DOT) and their consultants. His focus was primarily on the engineering design and collaboration side, as well as helping to implement one of the first DOT e-Construction workflows in the country. A proficient Spanish speaker, Brian supported account managers in South America and spent a year learning Portuguese, leading to him presenting in that language to a 200-member São Paulo, Brazil user group on the benefits of 3D modeling in road design. Most recently, Brian supported rail and transit agencies nationally on design, collaboration, and enterprise asset management initiatives.

Brian is a proud father, husband, and youth sports coach. An avid hiker and climber, Brian has explored national parks in Iceland, Ireland, Utah, and Peru, but he gets more pleasure from tent camping with his wife and two daughters (10 and 7) at one of the dozens of Pennsylvania State Parks. Ask him about pyrography (wood burning art).

John Okerman joined Info Tech as an Account Manager in January 2018. He has 33 years of experience in the civil engineering software industry. Twenty-three of those years was working with DOTs and the consultant community in roadway and bridge design and analysis, operations and maintenance, and asset management. Prior to Bentley, John worked for Softdesk, the AutoCAD civil engineering developer, and for Intergraph. He has a B.S. in Mathematics/Computer Science from UMass Amherst.

John and his wife of 26 years, Amy, live with an Italian Spinone, Phoebe, in Peterborough, New Hampshire. He enjoys hiking, playing guitar, and getting lost on purpose on the back roads of New England.
