The PUG Update

November 26, 2018

Hello AASHTOWare Project user group!

I hope everyone enjoyed the 2018 PUG in Louisville. Thanks again to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for hosting this event.

I would like to welcome our new board members, PUG Vice Chair Ty Carlson and Secretary/Treasurer Amy Sullivan. We all look forward to serving you over the next year and hope you will contact us with any questions or suggestions you may have.

In November, I represented the project user group at the AASHTOWare Project Task Force meeting in Santa Fe, New Mexico and presented the resolutions from the PUG as well as the results from the 2018 PUG survey. Thank you to all who participated in the survey, we received great feedback and ideas for the 2019 PUG in Kansas. Once the potential agenda topics are identified, we will conduct another survey in early February to solicit your feedback. As the PUG chair, my goal is to make the PUG an informative and valuable event for the project user community.

In addition to planning for the 2019 PUG, we are also looking for hosts for future PUG conferences. If your agency is interested and can commit to hosting the 2020 or 2021 PUG, please contact me.

Thank you and have great holiday season.

—  Sara Jarvis, PUG Chair, Alaska Department of Transportation
