AASHTOWare Project™ Marketing Update

February 28, 2022

The AASHTOWare Project Task Force (PTF) works together with our product contractor Infotech to produce resources for agency use throughout the year. Our goal is to provide agencies with the latest tools they need to make the most out of the AASHTOWare Project Unified Database, while also making sure the user community is informed and educated about AASHTOWare Project initiatives. Here is a summary of recent marketing activities and resources.

AASHTOWare Project Webinar Series
Recent Webinar: AASHTOWare Project Bids™ 4.0
On February 18, the AASHTOWare Project Bids 4.0 SaaS update went live, the first step towards an entirely web-based bidding solution. With this update, agencies will be able to implement the latest release for the agency components of AASHTOWare Project Bids without the need to download and install each release file. Webinar participants were able to learn more about this release by attending the session on February 17th, but don’t be concerned if you missed the opportunity. All webinars are recorded so that you can watch at a convenient time for you.

Infotech experts David Fillipps and Michelle Farnsworth will review the details of the update and answer any questions you may have. All attendees will receive a recording of the webinar and a summary of the Q&A session within one week of the webinar. The webinar will also be available to view on aashtowareproject.org.

Recent Webinar: AASHTOWare Project Dashboards Overview
Did you miss the last webinar in the AASHTOWare Project webinar series? The AASHTOWare Project Dashboards Overview features an overview of current AASHTOWare Project dashboard functionality, the Microsoft PowerBI service, and what new dashboards are coming down the pipeline. Want to check out the latest webinar? The recording is available on aashtowareproject.org under Resources → Videos → Project Videos tab → Recent Webinar Videos.

AASHTOWare Project Case Studies
As part of our marketing plan with Infotech, we’ve coordinated with several agencies to produce case studies that show the benefits and specific use cases of AASHTOWare Project. If you’re interested in learning more about a fellow agency’s experience with a module or service, these case studies are a helpful resource:

  • AASHTOWare Project Construction & Materials with Missouri DOT
  • AASHTOWare Project Estimation with Montana DOT
  • AASHTOWare Project Hosting with Kentucky Transportation Cabinet
  • AASHTOWare Project Civil Rights & Labor with Minnesota DOT
  • AASHTOWare Project Joint Development with Nebraska DOT and Minnesota DOT

If you have any questions about the AASHTOWare Project Marketing Plan or are interested in having your agency’s story featured in a case study, please contact your Infotech Account Manager.
