On behalf of the AASHTOWare Project Task Force, I’m pleased to welcome you to this edition of our newsletter. Each issue reflects our ongoing commitment to keeping our partners, users, and stakeholders informed about the progress, enhancements, and collaborative efforts that continue to shape the AASHTOWare Project suite.
Great news – the PTF has officially reviewed and approved the two PUG Resolutions related to the Data Analytics and Civil Rights and Labor category splits (yes, the ones everyone diligently voted on back in March!). These changes aim to improve the Enhancement Ranking process and bring a bit more clarity to the Ticketed Modification Request (TMR) – Ticket Info – Functional Area. Infotech is already hard at work implementing the updates in the AASHTOWareProject.org (APO) website, so feel free to send them a virtual fist bump.
AASHTOWare Project is about to get a whole lot better.

Starting June 1, the AASHTOWare Project support experience moved to a single, unified customer service portal. Whether you’re reporting a software issue, a hosting problem, or a Bidx.com question, there’s now one place to go and one clear path to resolution.
The AASHTOWare Project Task Force has announced a new enhancement to Hosting Services, provided by Infotech, aimed at streamlining agency testing and evaluation. Beginning with the launch of the new AASHTOWare Catalog on July 1, 2026, hosting licensees will have access to a dedicated pre‑production testing environment as one of the five standard sites included in the service.
This quarter, we’re spotlighting the Case Studies section of AASHTOWareProject.org (APO), which can be viewed by navigating to Resources > Case Studies. Through these real-world agency profiles, AASHTOWare Project users can learn more about diverse implementation journeys. Reviewing these narratives can help your agency discover new efficiencies, avoid common deployment speed bumps, and build a strong business case.
We are pleased to recognize and extend our sincere appreciation to Susan Downing-Reed for six years of committed service as a member of the AASHTOWare Project Task Force. Throughout her time, Susan has played a vital role in advancing the development and implementation of AASHTOWare Project solutions used by agencies across the country.

The AASHTOWare Project Task Force (PTF) is committed to continually improving the stability and long-term viability of the AASHTOWare Project platform. To ensure we are proactively investing in strategic modernization and delivering maximum value to all licensees, the PTF has prioritized three research projects for immediate exploration.
With summer meetings kicking off soon, we wanted to update our members on the conferences and meetings we will be attending. These in-person events are a great opportunity to ask questions about AASHTOWare Project, speak directly with AASHTO, Infotech, and the Project Task Force, and learn about product updates.
