AASHTOWare OpenAPI is a cloud-based platform that provides a connectivity framework for routing data between AASHTOWare products and other software solutions.  AASHTOWare OpenAPI acts as the application programming interface (API) request hub for routing data between AASHTOWare software installations and other software AASHTO members use.

AASHTOWare OpenAPI uses an API-centric architecture.  It supports a variety of uses and simplifies interactions between AASHTOWare products and other applications.  This includes commercial solutions and internal transportation agency systems, whether they are hosted on-premises or in the cloud.

License

AASHTOWare OpenAPI is available to AASHTO members that license AASHTOWare products. All other entities may gain access through the Alliance Program. A limited AASHTOWare OpenAPI evaluation license is also available.

Evaluation License

An evaluation license is available. The evaluation license provides limited access for six months and can only be used for development and testing; it cannot be used for production/final product work. This license supports working with a limited number of agencies and provides access to limited AASHTOWare OpenAPI performance and support.

Full System License

A full license for non-AASHTO members is available through the Alliance Program.  This license is valid for the term of the Alliance membership and provides access to all system resources.
