PUG Chair Corner: Staying Strong in 2022

May 31, 2022

As we continue into the 2022 Construction season, it seems like each of us gets busier and busier as the days go by.

That being said, I’d like to bring up opportunities to become more involved with the AASHTOWare Project software development. I know, I know, more meetings!

This year several of the TAGs will be looking for new Coordinators and Co-Coordinators. Also, the Project User Group (PUG) Board will be seeking nominations for the PUG Board Vice-Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer positions.

Each of these positions is a great way to enhance your knowledge of AASHTOWare and the Project User Group. Personally, my experiences as the CRL Coordinator and PUG Vice-Chair and Chair have been invaluable to me, allowing me to represent my agency better.

These positions will be voted on during the TAG meetings and General Session at the PUG Conference. If you are interested in any of these positions and would like additional information, please feel free to contact any PUG Board member or TAG Coordinator for more information.

The 2022 PUG Conference Agenda has been posted to APO under the PUG Conference Tab https://www.aashtowareproject.org/pug#pug-conference [gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com].
Take a look at all that’s offered this year, including training by Infotech. Registration is open and can be found at: https://www.eventbee.com/v/2022teapug#/tickets [gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com].
