Task Force Membership Update
July 15, 2026We would like to extend our appreciation to Dulce Rufino Feldman, Ph.D., of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and Kumar Dave, P.E., of the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), as their terms on the AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design Task Force come to a close. With the conclusion of their service this July, we reflect on the significant impact they have made on the AASHTOWare Pavement user community.
Throughout her time on the task force, Dulce consistently ensured that concrete was thoughtfully considered, helping to keep the software at the forefront of rigid pavement design. She has been highly active in the pavement design community and has provided valuable liaison support between AASHTO Technical Subcommittee 5d and the PMED Task Force, helping ensure alignment between the MEPDG and the software.
During his tenure on the task force, Kumar has been highly engaged in the user community. He has presented at multiple user groups, championed PMED to other agencies, served on NCHRP panels, and dedicated countless hours to reviewing guidance materials.
Both Dulce and Kumar have empowered their colleagues to become more involved in the user community and have demonstrated the value of knowledge sharing. Thank you, Dulce and Kumar, for your many contributions!
