2023 Top 10 RADBUG Enhancements
March 11, 2024The top 10 voting results for each product are tabulated below. A couple of the enhancements are already in the pipeline. For the #1 ranked BrR enhancement BSSD-3824, the BrDR 7.7 development will start tackling this enhancement by implementing non-linear finite element formulation of soil-culvert interaction. The development of the user interface, modeling capabilities, and specification checking are currently under planning. For the #6 ranked BrR enhancement BSSD-1855, the BrDR 7.7 release will introduce Load and Resistance Factor Rating (LRFR) of reinforced concrete pier caps. The AASHTOWare Bridge Design and Rating Task Force will examine the top enhancements, prioritize, and align with the strategic goals of both products in the upcoming April Task Force meeting.
