2024 PMED User Group Meeting Recap
September 24, 2024The 2024 PMED User Group Meeting was held September 4-5 in Atlanta, GA. Over ninety people were in attendance. Highlights of the meeting included several State DOT implementation updates, major activities initiated by the AASHTOWare Task Force for improving the PMED software in FY 25, a Calibration Assistance Tool (CAT) refresher presentation, and two design challenges using the PMED software for (1) the new FDR/CIR design module and (2) JPCP design sensitivity to parameter modifications for construction- and design-related inputs.
The 2025 PMED User Group Meeting will be held in Richmond, VA. Employees of State DOT PMED licensees are reminded to take advantage of AASHTO scholarships which reimburse expenses for registration, travel, lodging, and meals. A single-seat license holder is eligible for one scholarship, while a multi-seat license holder is eligible for up to two scholarships.
