2025 Golden Span Award
September 12, 2025This year at the 2025 Rating and Design User Group (RADBUG) meeting, the AASHTOWare Bridge Design and Rating Task Force proudly announced the inaugural Golden Span Award Recipient, Joseph Albert, P.E. from NYS Department of Transportation!
Just as a bridge span is essential to the engineering and design of a bridge, our volunteers are vital to the success of AASHTOWare Bridge Design and Rating. This award recognizes a member of the user community who has made a significant impact on the AASHTOWare Bridge Design and Rating product over the past year—not only through their commitment to advancing the software but also by fostering connections within the user community. Contributions may include exceptional feedback during beta testing, leadership and participation in Technical Advisory Groups, or dedicated support of the product within the broader user community.
