AASHTOWare Bridge Management (BrM) 7.1 Patch Release

November 20, 2025

Since its release in August, we have been busy supporting agencies as they upgrade and start using the newest version of BrM, 7.1. If you have not already, please request access to the BrM 7.1 installation package through Mayvue via a JIRA service management ticket or by emailing support@mayvue.com. Links will be provided with all necessary installation files, database scripts, and other pertinent information to install and run BrM 7.1. Note that the installation and database migration guides are now available online and can be updated with user feedback and important lessons learned in real time!

Additionally, in response to recent requests for changes by FHWA, the BrM Task Force is planning to release a BrM 7.1 patch early next year. The release date is currently targeted for January 2026.

In addition to addressing FHWA’s requests, the patch release will allow us to resolve an issue recently introduced with the latest Chromium update. If you’re using a browser with this update, such as Chrome or Edge, you may have experienced intermittent user interface issues such as unresponsiveness or a blank navigation menu. Until the patch is released, if you experience these issues, please consider trying a workaround such as:

  • Use Firefox
  • Resize the browser window (drag the border)
  • If there is a table in a modal, sometimes interacting with the table fixes the issue

We will communicate more details about the BrM 7.1 patch as we near its release date early next year. If you have any questions or would like more information regarding this announcement, please respond to this email, or reach out to either of the contacts below.
