BrDR 7.5 Beta Testing Update

July 13, 2023

BrDR 7.5 Beta testing was kicked off on May 5th with the release of the Beta 1 build. Five Beta builds are planned for the 7.5 development. In past Beta testing, a full package installer was provided to the Testing Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for each Beta build. For this Beta testing cycle, a full package installer is provided only for the Beta 2, 3, and 5 builds. The Internal Release Utility (IRU) is utilized to deliver all five Beta builds, and in addition the changes in between the builds, to the Testing TAG. The IRU is a standalone application that allows the Testing TAG to download, install, and test the latest development in a “tight-loop” or in essence as soon as a bug is fixed and the build is complete.

In addition to the virtual BrDR 7.5 Beta Testing Kickoff meeting on May 8th, the Testing TAG met in-person in the ProMiles Pittsburgh office from June 13th to 15th for an intense testing session. The Testing TAG will meet in-person for a second time the day before the RADBUG meeting for another testing session with the developer.
