BrDR 7.7 and 7.8 New Features and Enhancements in the Works

Work is now underway for both the BrDR 7.7 release and 7.8 release. The BrDR 7.7 release is scheduled for the last quarter of 2025 and the 7.8 release is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026.

The 7.7 release will update the existing BrDR/BrM Data Exchange Feature to support BrM 7’s SNBI implementation and provide Section 508 accessibility compliance.

The BrDR 7.8 release will introduce Load and Resistance Factor Rating (LRFR) of reinforced concrete pier caps. In addition, the 7.8 release will include the Phase 2 implementation of the next generation of the Report Tool. The second phase will complete the Bridge Workspace reporting for all superstructure types and begin the implementation of analysis output data reporting.
