BrDR Analysis TAG Recent Activities
March 11, 2024The Analysis TAG provides technical review and practice guidance on structural analysis applications, specification interpretation, and engineering approach to both the AASHTOWare Bridge Design and Bridge Rating products. The renewed Analysis TAG was formed in November last year with Ruben Boehler, Illinois DOT, serving as the Chair and Jennifer Hart, Indiana DOT, serving as the Vice Chair. The TAG meets each month to review and provide guidance on the BSSD issues that are brought to their attention. If an issue must be addressed within the specifications, the Analysis TAG will reach out to the responsible AASHTO Committee on Bridges and Structures Technical Committee for resolution. Currently, the Analysis TAG has 13 BSSD issues for review that require their expertise and experience. Of the 13 BSSD issues, 11 have been selected by individual TAG members to lead the review and investigation process.
