March 17, 2026A relatively new resource for AASHTOWare Bridge Design and Rating (BrDR) support is the BrDR Support Service Desk Confluence site. Confluence provides a “wiki-like” interface for all types of information about BrDR, from installation and database questions to release notes and detailed explanations of some of the calculations inside BrDR.
The landing page for the Confluence site is located at BrDR Support Service Desk – Confluence.
On this page, links to the Confluence articles are available in the list on the left. Links can also be browsed based on topic in the pane on the right. The topic list is generated based on content tags added to each article.
Some of the more popular Confluence articles are:
- Posted Release Notes for each version of the program, going back to version 6.4
- Instructions on how to use the Concrete Effective Supports Integrity Scanner and Diaphragm Properties Integrity Scanner
- Help for what to do if the program appears to be unresponsive because a window has opened off of the current screen
- Tips on how to troubleshoot ratings of 0.0
