Greetings User Community!
March 12, 2026As we finalize the agenda for the 2026 AASHTOWare PermitRoute User Experience Advisory Committee Meeting, we remain focused on ensuring it reflects the needs and priorities of our user community. With that in mind, we welcome topic suggestions from past and future attendees; please feel free to reach out to any member of our Strategic Advisory Committee.
This morning, I checked the sunrise time and realized that it was at 7:00 am. It made me happy that the sun was coming up earlier and earlier. But that also means we’re about to hit the busy season for the majority of state employees. As we move into the spring and summer months, our responsibilities expand to include increased activity related to construction, commerce, and safety. AASHTOWare PermitRoute continues to advance initiatives that support roadway safety through ongoing software enhancements, including expanded navigation assistance, improved railroad safety features, and strengthened accessibility.
In the remainder of this newsletter, you’ll find an overview of the key projects and developments we have been working on this quarter, including:
- Upcoming Webinar: Breaking Down Bridge Hits with the Illinois DOT
- Registration Now Open: 2026 User Experience Advisory Committee Meeting
- 2026 Specialized Transportation Symposium Recap
- AASHTOWare PermitRoute Strategic Advisory Committee
Our goal is to provide informative articles that help our user community stay up to date on all things AASHTOWare PermitRoute. If you have any questions or would like to get in touch, please don’t hesitate to reach out to myself or Ryan Fragapane, Product Director.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone in St. Louis!
Thank you,
Dominique Shannon
