New LTPP InfoPave™ API

AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design™ is pleased to announce a new integration with the Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) InfoPave Application Programming Interface (API). This API facilitates the incorporation of NASA’s Modern-Era Retrospective Analysis for Research and Applications (MERRA-2) climatic data with the AASHTOWare OpenAPI. The FHWA LTPP InfoPave™ API provides critical climatic data services to the AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design™ product, enabling users to access essential hourly climatic data for specific geolocations. By leveraging the API, users can obtain Hourly Climatic Data (HCD) for precise geolocations or entire counties.

This LTPP InfoPave™ API has been integrated with the AASHTOWare OpenAPI to enhance AASHTOWare products, allowing all applications to access, interpret, and analyze MERRA-2 climatic data, and providing HCD files from any location or device.
