New State DOT Implementation

The Montana DOT is conducting a verification of the PMED 3.0 web version for flexible pavement designs with the Calibration Assistance Tool (CAT) using LTPP test sections. The verification will provide direction on the need for locally calibrating performance models before implementing PMED for pavement design projects. A gap analysis of available materials and traffic input data for designs will supplement this effort.
