PMED User Experience Update

The structure builder has been approved for inclusion in AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design! This change alters the current “Action Menu” and includes major revisions to the “General Information” and “Structure” components. The new system now has users select from design templates that represent the options previously provided by the Design Type and Pavement Type drop down components. The application will now inform the user of the type of analysis to be run based on its examination of the structure. This helps cut down on confusion about structures and their associated analysis models.

 

 

We’ve also updated the order of the information in action menu so your design’s non-structure dependent data are first, followed by the structure builder, followed by structure dependent data, then the other action menu items.

We expect this change to be available to users in late November/early December.
