PMED users are encouraged to check out “The Designer’s Corner” video shorts which will help users with common design questions and issues.
There are currently 30 training videos available on our YouTube ranging from an introductory course on the design concepts in the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide, to topics like Design Criteria Reliability, Aggregate Base Layers, JPCP Faulting, and more!
AASHTO offers numerous training courses relating to Materials and Pavement Preservation. The latest course, Fundamental Concepts of the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG), introduces the mechanistic-empirical (ME) design approach and its advantages, including the integration of traffic and climate data for more reliable pavement performance predictions.
