Words of Farewell from Previous Chairperson

John Donahue, with the Missouri Department of Transportation, completed his term on the PMED Task Force at the end of June 2020. A few words from John:

The years I served on the PMED task force have flown by.  I always felt it was a privilege and an honor to be a part of a working group that continually strove to enhance, fix, and update the most comprehensive pavement design tool in the world.  The part I will miss the most is the friendship and camaraderie amongst State and Canadian DOT reps, ARA contractor personnel, and AASHTO and FHWA liaisons.  Occasionally, a spirited debate took place, but it never becomes rancorous.  I’m fully confident the current members of this group will continue to put the best interests of software licensees first and foremost when making decisions for the future development of the program.
