The AASHTOWare Project Bids software streamlines the bidding process, providing transportation agencies with control over the bid letting process while facilitating bid submittal for contractors. Bidders are able to receive proposal item schedules and to submit and withdraw item bids in a secure, electronic environment. The AASHTOWare Project Bids software provides security and encryption functionality for bids submitted over the Internet.

The AASHTOWare Project Bids software is designed to exchange data with the AASHTOWare Project Preconstruction software or similar systems. Item schedule data can be produced to assist with proposal creation and proposal information can be shared with many word processing, database, or spreadsheet systems.

Submit Bid Files Online

Prepare agency bid requirements securely and electronically, including items, addendum, proposal sites, form completion, bonding, and more. After your bid file is generated, easily distribute the file to contractors.

Secure Bid Data with Digital Signatures

Bids submitted online are encrypted in transit and at rest. Digital signatures are utilized to protect data during the submission and withdrawal process. Electronic verification of bid bonds is also available to the contractor.

Optimize Time and Cost

Online bid submission allows contractors to keep their bids up to date until the deadline, creating more opportunity for competitive price adjustments. Easier set-up and fewer discarded bids enable agencies to be more productive in their bidding process.

License

Annual License

An annual license for AASHTOWare Project Bids is available for purchase. Costs associated with installation, implementation, supplemental support, and training are the licensees’ responsibility. Service units may be purchased from AASHTO to cover installation, implementation, supplemental support, and training costs.

Bundled License

AASHTOWare Project Bids may be obtained as part of the following bundled module and hosting license options. Bundled module and hosting license options are intended for member agencies who want to combine module licensing and hosting services licensing into a single license.

180-Day Evaluation License

An evaluation license valid for up to 180 days can be obtained at no fee. The software provided is not a demonstration copy but the actual executable full-function current software release of the product. Execution of an Evaluation License Agreement is required. This no cost option is limited to one evaluation period per agency per product prior to licensing.
