2023 Safety User Experience Committee Meeting
September 28, 2023The 2023 Safety User Experience Committee meeting was a great success this week!
We would like to thank all of the product users who took time out of their busy schedules to meet and discuss how the use of AASHTOWare Safety powered by Numetric is helping to improve traffic safety.
Throughout the meetings this week, there were a lot of great conversations. Some of the topics we discussed included the following:
- Use of custom filters to standardize processes within Crash Query, Network Screening, and Safety Analysis
- Public access to AASHTOWare Safety powered by Numetric solutions
- The use of Safety Performance Functions (SPF) & Crash Modification Functions (CMF) to help predict and reduce future crashes
- Sharing success stories with other state organizations
- Software enhancement solutions to increase ease of use
