Alliance Partner News – Infotech

August 28, 2024

Infotech, AASHTO’s contractor for AASHTOWare Project since 1985, announced it is under new ownership and has been acquired by Diversis Capital. How AASHTOWare Project is delivered and maintained will not change for customers.

AASHTO had the opportunity to meet with Diversis prior to finalizing the acquisition. During the meetings with Diversis, AASHTO was given assurance that there will be no change in the operation of services for the AASHTOWare Project user community. Additionally, Diversis brings the relevant knowledge in enterprise software, mobile technology, and experience working with state agencies and the federal government.

We understand you may have questions, so we want to provide a few details on what this news means for you:

  • Infotech leadership: Infotech leadership and teams will remain in place, ensuring continuity and stability, including Will McClave remaining as CEO.
  • Serving customers: Infotech felt that bringing in a partner like Diversis was the right decision to ensure the company continues to have the resources necessary to serve customers at the level at which you’ve been accustomed.
  • Day-to-day operations: You will continue to work directly with Infotech in the same manner you always have, with no changes to how the user community interacts with Infotech through the joint development process. Diversis will not be involved in day-to-day operations.
  • Future innovation: Diversis brings substantial resources and expertise to help Infotech innovate and expand its proprietary product offerings as well as enhance the level of service it provides to AASHTOWare Project users.
  • AWP contractor: Infotech will continue to fulfill its role as the official AASHTOWare Project contractor.
  • Existing projects: There will be no impact to current projects, services work or implementations.
