Alliance Partner Update – HaulHub

November 21, 2024

At HaulHub Technologies, our commitment to innovation and sustainability in transportation construction management has led to the development of a proven platform that simplifies managing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

Over the years, we’ve collaborated with leading state Departments of Transportation (DOTs)—including Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, Louisiana, and others—and partnered with industry leaders such as WSP USA, AECOM, WAP Sustainability, and Iowa State University to incorporate sustainability efforts into construction workflows. Beginning in early 2022, we integrated EPD management into our EDOT Platform in preparation for the ADCMS Grant Program. With A4-A5 emissions automated capture as a key goal for Delaware, EPD management became essential for achieving full cradle-to-built tracking. Guided by NAPA, we developed a solution that goes beyond basic EPD collection, embedding advanced capabilities directly into DOT workflows to support sustainability goals and low-carbon requirements.

Recent recipients of the Federal Highway Administration’s Low Carbon Transportation Materials (LCTM) Grants can now leverage these enhancements. With HaulHub’s platform, agencies can confidently streamline EPD collection and management for low-carbon projects—just as they have done with e-Tickets.

Our EDOT Platform delivers:

  • Seamless EPD Collection and Management integrated with e-Ticketing workflows at the project level.
  • Detailed Project LCTM Tracking and Reporting to ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Collaborative Tools connecting universities, consultants, and analysts with DOT personnel, offering full lifecycle support.

With HaulHub’s EDOT Platform, DOTs and their partners can efficiently navigate the complexities of low-carbon initiatives. Our all-in-one solution, built on years of research, development, and agency feedback, is designed to simplify and streamline EPD management across the entire construction supply chain.
