Beacon of Safety Award Recipient
October 07, 2025This year at the Safety User Experience Advisory Committee Meeting, the AASHTOWare Safety Strategic Advisory Committee announced Dave Adams of the Georgia Department of Transportation, as the 2025 Beacon of Safety Award Recipient.
The Beacon of Safety Award honors a member of the AASHTOWare Safety powered by Numetric user community who has served as a guiding mentor and advocate within the transportation safety space. This award celebrates individuals who have championed AASHTOWare Safety as a vital tool for advancing traffic safety across the industry.
When asked, Dave’s fellow users expressed he is the ultimate mentor and advocate, explaining “When I think of what Dave Adams means to Traffic Safety, I think of someone who has spent their career wanting to improve safety. He’s not just been willing to try new things, he has looked for new things to try. He’s someone who has always been willing to share his experience and help others.”
