Updates to the AASHTOWare Project™ Website

May 28, 2020

In July 2019, the AASHTOWare Project Task Force (PTF) launched aashtowareproject.org, an all-in-one resource site for our user community. A little under a year later, we’re launching the next big update to bring additional features and functionality to our users. It is our goal to continue improving and adding to aashtowareproject.org to ensure users have the resources and information they need to move their agencies forward. Updates coming on June 30 include:

Technical Advisory Group (TAG) Application
A new addition to aashtowareproject.org, this automated page will allow users to apply for a TAG group online with approvals communicated through email.

Software Key Retrieval
This process will give users access to their applicable software keys. Keys will be located on the Downloads page.

“Download All” Project Documentation Option
Users can now download all product documentation into easy-to-manage zip files instead of having to download files individually.

EUD Contact Editing
As the heading implies, agency EUDs are now able to edit Contacts for their agency.

New Quarterly Report
Aashtowareproject.org will produce a new quarterly report that focuses on the various software tools, platforms, and browsers an agency may need to customize the software. This report will supplant the AASHTOWare Project and Product Support Matrix.

Hide Urgent Priorities
Users will no longer see the “urgent” option for Call Tickets (CTs) and Ticketed Modification Requests (TMRs) when creating them. Additionally, the priority will be greyed out for historical CTs and TMRs.

We look forward to hearing your response to the new site after the June 30 launch. As always, we encourage users to keep their “Profile” section and notification preferences updated. If you have any questions about the new website, contact webmaster@aashtowareproject.org.
