February 28, 2026The March 20th release of AASHTOWare Project™ version 5.05 is just around the corner, delivering high-impact enhancements to streamline your workflows and improve data accuracy across Estimation, Preconstruction, Civil Rights & Labor, and Construction & Materials.
Key Release Highlights:
Preconstruction & Estimation
- Seamless Transitions: Map proposal fields directly to contract fields for consistent data integrity during the ‘Transition to Construction’ process.
- Task Management: Update cost estimate item tasks directly from the reference item, reducing manual updates.
- Pricing Efficiency: Update item prices across multiple projects within a proposal from one central location.
Civil Rights & Labor
- Form WH-347 Compliance: Enhanced manual payroll entry for full compliance with updated federal standards.
- Vendor Record Improvements: A new “Payrolls Not Required” flag on vendor records helps prevent unnecessary payment estimate exceptions.
Construction & Contract Administration
- Approval Flexibility: Administrators can now reverse the approval of a change order, providing a critical safety net for data correction.
- Contract Management: Copy or export/import contracts between environments to simplify testing and data migration.
- Voucher Control: A new contract indicator allows users to prevent automated voucher creation for specific contracts (such as shadow contracts), offering more precision in payment processing.
Materials Management
- Streamlined Qualifications: Add multiple persons to a single qualification status and date, making it easy to process entire training classes at once.
- Global Acceptance: Save time by applying global acceptance action changes to all or selected affected contracts simultaneously.
Platform Improvements
- Improved Reliability: Version 5.05 modernizes the platform to Microsoft .NET 8 ensuring greater performance, security, stability, and future-readiness.
