Performance-based practical design is gaining momentum across State DOTs by giving roadway designers flexibility to improve safety in a cost-effective way. AASHTOWare Safety’s Alternative Design module is rapidly improving as states implement this tool for their performance-based practical design needs.

A quick reminder that registration is now open for the 2026 User Experience Advisory Committee Meeting. We’ll be meeting September 9–10 in Madison, Wisconsin. The agenda is full of valuable content, and we’re looking forward to the conversations, collaboration, and insights that always make this meeting so meaningful.

We’re also pleased to share that the fiscal year 2027 AASHTOWare catalog is now live. Electronic ordering is now available for all orders beginning July 1.
