The 2025 PMED User Group Meeting was held September 3-4 in Richmond, VA. Over 100 people were in attendance. Highlights of the meeting included several State DOT implementation updates, hands-on training
The structure builder has been approved for inclusion in AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design! This change alters the current “Action Menu” and includes major revisions to the “General Information” and “Structure” components.

- Improved CAT Resources
The improved CAT resources are now active. An entire extra compute instance is now available for use in running CAT-related designs.
The AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design (PMED) program has the capability to analyze various rehabilitation and preventive maintenance strategies for both jointed plain concrete pavement (JPCP) and continuously reinforced concrete pavement (CRCP).
ARA provided training in use of the PMED and BcT program web applications to the Arizona DOT in late September under an AASHTOWare service unit agreement. The Arizona DOT is aggressively pursuing full implementation of the PMED web application for future pavement designs.
