Change in PTF Membership

The PTF is pleased to announce that Kathy Terrio and Dan Burns have recently been appointed to join the Project Task Force (PTF).

Kathy Terrio is with the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and is currently in the Construction Engineering Services Bureau. Kathy has been with the department for 15 years and is responsible for various aspects of contract administration including Labor and OJT Compliance. She works with MDT contractors and field staff to ensure federal and state financial and administrative contract requirements are met. Kathy develops AASHTOWare training and is kept busy delivering it across the state to both internal and external folks. She was the Project User Group Chair for the 2022 conference and Coordinator of the Civil Rights and Labor TAG before moving to the Task Force.

Dan Burns is the Construction Technology Engineer for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). Dan has been with the department for 15 years and has a broad background including design work and overseeing MDOT, local agencies, and consultant construction contracts. Dan currently serves as the Construction Business Owner for MDOT’s AASHTOWare Project software and has been Michigan’s Representative for the Project Users Group since 2018. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and is a licensed engineer in the state of Michigan.
