There are several new things around the corner for the AASHTOWare Project community. In this installment of the newsletter, you will be able to learn more about the new AASHTOWare Project webinar series. You’ll also find out how you can become an active member of the user community by participating on the AASHTOWare Project Technical Review Teams (TRT) or Technical Advisory Groups (TAG).
The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials recently received a waiver letter from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) allowing state departments of transportation to use State Planning and Research, or SP&R funding, for the implementation of AASHTOWare Project Construction and Materials – a comprehensive, web-based module designed to support the complete construction and materials management process.
Upgrade Now for Improved Transparency, Clarity, and Reporting
AASHTOWare Project Bids 3.0 is launching on September 25 with several requested enhancements from our user community. Agencies are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of AASHTOWare Project Bids to receive the latest features and identify potential warranty issues. Built to improve agency control and contractor clarity, AASHTOWare Project Bids 3.0 has several key updates that expand the module’s capabilities. So, what’s new?
A Mobile, Flexible Field Sampling Application
Ever have issues feeding field sample data into AASHTOWare Project Construction & Materials? With the release of Mobile Tester, AASHTO plans on making it easier for inspectors and field personnel to capture vital sample data at the source. Launching on September 10, 2019, Mobile Tester is built with a number of time-saving features that will allow agencies to immediately start using the tool in their existing workflow.
Upgrade Now for the Latest Enhancements and Warranty Fixes
AASHTOWare Project 4.2 is here! Upgrade to receive the latest enhancements and resolved warranty issues. This release addresses nearly 200 Ticket Modification Requests (TMRs) included as key enhancements.
As always, our goal is to provide users with ample tools and resources to make the most of their AASHTOWare Project experience. Through our partnership with the AASHTOWare Project contractor, Info Tech, Inc., we’ve created a variety of digital resources and instructional content for you, such as videos, webinars, and the new AASHTOWare Project user website.
The 2019 PUG Conference in Overland Park, KS, is fast approaching. As you know, this year’s conference will feature both demo-style and hands-on training sessions for agency views, active reports and OData.
