There have been several changes to the AASHTOWare Project Task Force over the last few months. First of all, Devin Townsend, from the Nebraska Department of Transportation, has stepped down from the PTF and has been appointed to the Special Committee on AASHTOWare or SCOA.

One of the AASHTOWare Project Task Force’s strategic objectives is to provide innovative products to address business needs and provide value to the user community by regularly addressing issues that arise in the software. The release of AASHTOWare Project 4.1 addressed more than 30 Ticket Modification Requests and improved a range of user experiences.
For the past several years, the AASHTOWare Project Task Force (PTF) has been focusing available funding on needed enhancements in the web-based AASHTOWare Project software. At this point, the software is considered functionally complete. Knowing that many agencies are currently planning implementation projects, the PTF is now focusing available funding primarily on resolving maintenance TMRs (defects found outside the warranty period) and tech upgrades.
The AASHTOWare Project Task Force is excited to announce that we have received commitments from eleven of the twelve requested agencies towards the development of the AASHTOWare Project Data Analytics software. With this level of commitment, we are looking at refining the scope of this project and start the development phase.
