We would like to extend our appreciation to Dulce Rufino Feldman, Ph.D., of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and Kumar Dave, P.E., of the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), as their terms on the AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design Task Force come to a close.
Sometime during the 1st quarter of FY27, a Best Practices Guide (BPG) for implementation will become available to all users. Many examples from State DOTs will be included.
The PMED software traffic module compiles load spectra data from vehicle class and axle load distributions for use in the mechanistic response modules.
PMED users are encouraged to check out “The Designer’s Corner” video shorts which will help users with common design questions and issues.
